We supply approved products tailored to specific markets and offer exceptional local support through our supply chain and customer service.We are actively seeking an Electrical Schematic Designer to join our team and contribute to our exciting projects.Your key responsibilities will include:Being responsible for drawing electrical diagrams of power converters in the range of 1-10 MW, working as part of an engineering team developing power systems.Participate on Product Development and R&D activities among multiple product categories.Generate manufacturing and assembly documents and bill of materials, maintain product data in our electronic document management system and ERP.Get involved with the sales department through the analysis of needs for prospecting projects, giving time and material cost estimates for development or project execution activities.Collaborate on the supplier qualification activities, working closely with the purchasing department in their interactions with distributors.Participate on the industrialization of new products and maintenance of existing ones by supporting the production department.Autonomously defining and selecting electrical components according to the inputs from theRequirementsExtensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in the design of electrical diagrams and schematics using CAD tools (SchemELECT, SolidWorks Electrical, SEE Electrical, ...).Drawing cable and harness schematics at sub-assembly and cabinet level. Drawing of command-and-control schematics.Experience on the electrical design for medium size power converters, battery storage, renewable energy converters or traction power systems in the range of 1-10 MW.Integration of protections, control systems, semiconductors and measuring devices withing power converters.Knowledge on electrical insulation devices, techniques and norms.At least 5 years of experience in a similar role (experience in the railway sector is a plus).Solid understanding of electrical distribution principles and their associated protection systems.Fluency in English (B2 or higher); knowledge of additionallanguages such as French or Spanish is advantageous.Willingness to travel occasionally (about once every two months).A team player who is autonomous, solutions-oriented, and capable of taking technical responsibilities.BenefitsWe have flat hierarchies and encourage direct communication between departments and levels of management
