Mission: Project Manager effective in leading and managing projects from the concept and detail of the design, through to implementation, testing and handover.
Implementing management skills and technical knowledge, being able to project manage to complete projects accurately, on time and within budget, achieving revenue performance targets.
Project types: Substation, Medium and Low Voltage Equipment and Facilities such as Electrical Distribution, Infrastructure, Data centers and Industry.
Experience in MV equipment and auxiliary systems: Power transformers, MV switchgears, LV Switchgears, UPS, VFDs, protections, control and automation (selectivity studies, communication networks, automatic transfers ...) Main responsibilities of the position are the following: Leading execution team of each project and all stages of the project (identify necessary resources and define responsibilities of the project team).
Review technical documentation to optimize the solution and assure the customer requirement compliance.
Review and take decisions on technical comments raised by the customer.
Lead kick off meetings with customer, factories and subcontractors.
Monitor and control projects progress to ensure the on-time delivery of the projects.
Use the tracking board tool and take pro-active decisions and actions to prevent any slippages.
Ensure full & effective reporting of project progress & status to management.
Risks & Opportunities analysis, identifying, mitigating, and controlling any potential situations that could impact (negatively or positively) the performance of the project.
Leading customer communication.
Meet customer requirements applicable to the implementation of projects to control and increase their satisfaction.
Collaborate with purchasing department in the negotiation of subcontracts (homologated), with consequent negotiation of terms, quality and price in each of projects that are executed.
Interlocution with national and international factories of group.
Suppliers and internal teams coordination.
As interlocutor with subcontractors during execution of the project, monitorization in terms of delivery time (lead time), cost and quality.
Obtain margin improvements and results budgeted in the projects and issues under your responsibility.
Run regular Project reviews and provide best estimates of margin at completion.
Variation Order & Claim process for both Customer and main suppliers.
Obtain Variation Orders for any deviation from the contractual scope.
Mitigate any source of conflict with customer or suppliers throughout the project execution phase.
Drive customer relationship and proactively communicate (executive summary, emails, call, meeting).
Manage the FAT event and realize the FAT NPS.
Establish key relationships with all business relevant stakeholders.
Manage project closure and transfer to Field Services team.
Knowledge and Experience: Technical Engineer or Bachelor of Engineering.
Project Management experience for Medium Voltage Solutions, MV Equipment's, turnkey plants.
Requested experience in engineering and execution on Electrical Distribution Substation.
Valuable knowledge and experience in execution of MV / LV electrical installations and dimensioning of the electrical network.
Valuable knowledge in control and monitoring systems applied to Electrical Distribution Systems.
Valuable experience in Datacenter applications.
Valuable PMI Certification.
