Your position
As an Electrical Engineer, your main functions/tasks will be:
As Electrical Project Engineer, you have a key role in the total electrical design.
Create and generate single line diagrams, cabinet drawings, and electrical layout drawings during the design phase (Eplan, AutoCAD).
Identify changes to the contractual requirements and analyze cost and time impact of these changes; support the project manager or contract manager for variation proposals.
Specify electrical and controls equipment specification, right up to preparing the bill of materials.
Revision and calculation of Power distribution of the different elements (Motors, Resale, etc.).
Working with different types of networks (Profinet, Profibus, AS-I, Interbus, Ethernet).
Create installation files, electrical test reports, extra material specifications, and site installation instructions during the site execution phase.
Create specific installation manuals to describe only the modifications to be made to existing installations.
Support installation and commissioning teams.
Modify electrical engineering of existing projects.
Process and submit as-built documentation to the project team on electrical and controls discipline.
Communicate and coordinate design and site issues with clients, design consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
You will be working closely with the Control Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and other disciplines from the Operations department.
Your profile
As an Electrical Engineer within Vanderlande Spain, we are looking for a person with the following experience and skills:
Degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Telecommunications Engineering.
Experience in a similar position.
Strong skills in E-PLAN P8 and AutoCAD programs.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use your logistic skills in analyzing and understanding customer processes.
Experience in automatic warehouses, Parcel and logistics sector, or machinery manufacturers.
Knowledge of industrial automation.
Strong communication skills and a creative approach to building professional client relationships.
Ability to work within an international work environment, especially within a project organization.
On-site experience.
Good language skills in English (B2), both verbal and written, and a high level of Spanish (B2).
Willingness to travel.
