This pioneering company, with a history spanning several decades, is recognized for its significant contributions to a sustainable energy future.Your Mission as an Electrical and Instrument SupervisorAs the Electrical and Instrument Supervisor, your mission is to ensure the optimal performance and integrity of all electrical and instrument equipment at the EPF facility. You will provide essential support to the Operations and Asset Integrity teams, ensuring that all equipment functions at its peak while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your role is critical in driving the efficiency and reliability of operations, contributing directly to the overall success of the facility.You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as an Electrical and Instrument Supervisor
Operational and Maintenance Support: Provide troubleshooting support for electrical and instrument issues, coordinate with external experts when necessary, and ensure compliance with inspection and maintenance plans.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety procedures, including Permit to Work (PTW) protocols, integrity management standards, and facility-specific safety requirements. Lead daily safety meetings and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Asset Integrity: Support the Asset Integrity team in maintaining plant electrical and instrument integrity, including regular maintenance, calibration, and record-keeping.
Team Leadership: Assign roles and responsibilities within the Electrical and Instrument team, ensure team members have the necessary competencies, and oversee training and development initiatives.
Inventory and Resource Management: Manage inventory, order necessary spare parts, and maintain the minimum required stock. Prepare for scheduled facility shutdowns and ensure all activities are planned and executed efficiently.
Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as an Electrical and Instrument Supervisor
Experience: Extensive experience in Electrical and Instrument roles, combined with a good experience in maintenance job.
Technical Expertise: Senior Authorized Electrical Person with a strong background in integrity management, control room operations, emergency response management, and operational and maintenance activities in gas, oil, or water processing plants.
Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to manage and train a team, communicate effectively with managers, peers, and clients, both verbally and in writing.
System Proficiency: Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, safety reporting systems, and other relevant business tools. Familiarity with integrity management standards, electronic permit to work systems, and electrical safety guidelines.
