DESCRIPTIONAs an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that the preventive maintenance of site-critical facility infrastructure is planned and executed to the highest standards, in accordance to AWS procedures setting and maintaining the highest standards for safety and actively promoting a world-class safety culture in all aspects of operational procedure.This position requires frequent site interventions, critical switching activities, along with troubleshooting and fixing infrastructure issues. The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a 'hands on' capacity on Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) infrastructure such as diesel generators, MV/LV switchgear, UPS's, PDU's, Pumps, AHU's, fire detection systems and building automation systems.On a daily basis you work semi-autonomously in operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in data center ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work. You draft, update & maintain method statements, standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, preventive maintenance programs, and all technical documentation pertaining to Operation department enabling the organization to deliver 100% up-time on all customer supporting infrastructure.Collaborating effectively with internal & external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence for all AWS.Are you an active, hands-on professional with experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to solve customer issues? Do you have a proven track record of maintaining and repairing critical electrical infrastructure to the highest standards?Come build the future with us.Basic Qualifications- CFGS / FPII Electromechanical maintenance, power plants, electrical installations, renewable energies.- At least 2 years of "hands-on" experience maintaining electrical distribution equipment at Data Center facilities / or Mission Critical Plants/ Power plants.- Ability to draft accurate support procedures, compile system documentation, and issue tracking entries while taking full ownership of technical issues.- B1 English level- Driving license valid in Spain and willing to travel between data center sites.Preferred Qualifications- +4 years of experience leading and managing operations of critical facilities which require in-depth knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systems.- Solid IT skills; experience and knowledge of MS Office suite.- Knowledge of backup generator systems.About the teamAWS Infrastructure Services (AIS)AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
