Electrical Engineer Pitch & Yaw Systems (M/F/D)

YOUR TASKS As member of our international team you take over several development tasks for our electrical pitch and yaw systems. Both systems consist of frequency converters and a various number of electro-mechanical drives.
In detail, this includes the following tasks : Support of ongoing developments of the electrical pitch and yaw systems, from specification over prototyping to serial introductionPlan, perform, evaluate and document tests for both electrical pitch and yaw systems, on component, system and turbine levelProgramming, testing and automation of test cases in EXAM for HiL testingCreate related technical documentation, e.g. specifications and technical notificationsData administration for the pitch and yaw systems over their entire lifecycle (PDM / PLM)Development of new concepts in single axis control as well as in the control of electrical drivesDesign, program and parametrize both the electrical pitch and yaw systemsYOUR PROFILE M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar background, preferably in the field of automation, power electronic and / or electrical drivesAdvanced knowledge in test automation using HiL (e.g. dSpace ControlDesk, EXAM)Experience of a programming language like SCL (Siemens) and CoDeSys as well as MATLAB / Simulink is preferredExperience in motor design and control of electrical drives to be of advantageFluent in English, both spoken and written. Spanish and / or German is a plus.Proactive, confident, reliable and a good team playerWell-structured and autonomous way of working with a solution-oriented mindset as well as accuracy and efficiencyIntercultural understanding and thriving on working collaboratively within cross-functional and global teamsReadiness for travel to tests at testbenches (in Rostock) for up to 20% of the working time in average
