The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in substation engineering and electrical engineering principles. In this role, you will support the assessment of safe, reliable, and cost-effective designs for the implementation of substations. This is a permanent role and will offer excellent prospects for career development involving different power generation technologies, mainly renewable energy projects.ResponsibilitiesPrimary plant design and layouts for HV substations;Equipment specifications for HV Plant and ancillary equipment;Providing engineering design input to major electrical power projects from feasibility/front end engineering stages to detailed design/site construction monitoring and commissioning;Project management and coordination with clients and our design teams, including civil, structural, environmental, survey/geotechnical, transport, protection and control, and CAD/BIM team;Delivering projects in new technologies e.g. energy storage, HVDC systems, smart grid solutions, waste to energy etc;Provide professional services to clients both nationally and internationally.What Would Make You a MatchWe are looking for committed and motivated graduates with a genuine passion for engineering and a desire to make a difference in the world.
