Electrical And Control Maintenance Engineer

Description: To work as an Electrical Engineer in the electrical/control maintenance department at a paper mill with due regard to safety, environment and quality. Develop a deep knowledge and drive continuous improvement in a proactive way proposing alternatives and options to improve the efficiency of electrical systems such as: Electrical motors for HV and LV up to 1.5 Mw & Stand alone speed inverters. Paper Machine Sectional multi drive: Rectifiers / Frequency converters / Special AC Motors. Machine automation (Hydraulic, pneumatic and electric positioning and movements PLC based). Define and follow up on all maintenance activities for electrical equipment under his responsibility: Corrective, preventive & predictive maintenance routines, planning of shutdowns, spare parts testing and manage contractors' activities. Assist and support operation engineers in managing the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the paper mill. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Mandatory: Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering. Optional: Specific training or final year project based on Power Electronics. Experience on PLC (e.G., Siemens S7) and speed inverters for AC Motors. EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years in Industrial E&C maintenance department, preferable on continuous industrial process.
