Reference: 23-107_MS_PGIDIBELL is looking for a National Grants Project ManagerAbout the department IDIBELL Research Grants Department provides support to researchers throughout the lifecycle of competitive research projects to contribute to the leadership of IDIBELL in biomedical research. Post-Award is in charge of supporting researchers in the management of awarded competitive grants from a large variety of funding bodies, including Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII), Ministerio de Ciencia, Fundació La Marató de TV3, European Commission and National Institutes of Health (NIH).About the role The main duties for this position are the following:Ensuring the right economic execution of projects, according to the applicable funding body regulationsManaging any changes that may arise during the execution of grants: financial, duration, team members, centre or methodologyPreparing economic reports and ensuring scientific reports are submitted on timePreparing all documentation for the external audits of grantsMonitoring and updating the regulations applicable to grantsContact with funding bodies and project coordinatorsJob requirements Professional experience: 2 or more years of experience in financial management of competitive projectsEducation and training: Training in finances, administration or similar; BSc in any fieldTechnical skills and personal skills: Good numerical skills; Well-organised person with very good attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines; Team player with good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; Advanced user of MS Office (MS Word, Excel and Power Point)Languages: Fluent in Spanish; Good command of the English language; A good knowledge of Catalan is highly desirableWe will value, but not required: Previous experience in a health/biomedical research environmentMotivated, pro-active and results oriented personFlexible and adaptable personWhat do we offer No of positions: 1Start date: Immediate incorporationContract duration: PermanentPossibility to work some days in remote - teleworkingEstimated annual gross salary: it is commensurate with qualifications and consistent with our pay ranges.You will be part of a multicultural team.
