Minimize impacts on the Environment (environmental footprint of operations & management of historical pollution). Protect Alstom assets and reduce risks of business interruption resulting from fire and natural catastrophes.Responsibilities:Support Site Management and Site EHS manager in achieving EHS results: Implementation of EHS policy on the field according to Alstom guidelines and targets, and the improvement of EHS results in the site.Advise, help, coach, support operational management in the EHS actions implementation to reach Alstom EHS objectives.Develop the local yearly EHS plan consistent with Alstom Transport strategy and objectives. Mobilize and coordinate with others to meet those objectives and deploy the plan. Monitor the right deployment of the plan.Ensure EHS Risk Assessment is done & appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Site.Prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans at Site level.Make sure activities of sub-contractors are under control with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operational areas.Has full authority and must stop any operational activity resulting in an immediate high risk to People or the Environment.Advise Site personnel on all aspects of EHS applicable to site activities.Recognize the best practices and the good performance.Perform EHS audit of subcontractors.Develop Site EHS Management System:Develop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools applicable to the Site specific for EHS Management System in line with EHS Management System and international standards (ISO 14001, ISO45001 and ISO 50001).Ensure that Alstom EHS standards, tools (AZDP, TOP_E, Transport Key processes) and other environmental campaigns are deployed at Site level.EHS Compliance:Assist the Site EHS Manager to ensure compliance of the site activities according to the EHS Plan, guidelines and work instructions.Perform EHS legal compliance checks.Maintain appropriate records and documentation of the Site.Ensure the Coordination of Business Activities in site.Develop EHS culture in the site:Inform, instruct and train employees to carry out the work in safe & environment-friendly mode.Participate in the implementation of the site EHS training programs by providing EHS inductions and EHS continuous training.Report, Measure & Review:Ensure that Accidents/Incidents are first prevented, and when occurring, reported, recorded, investigated and analyzed.Establish and communicate REX reports in case of severe or potentially severe accidents.Ensure Alstom EHS call for actions are deployed at site level.Prepare and submit monthly EHS reports.Feed EHS Teranga reporting system in line with Group reporting requirements.Carry out inspections of work areas and carry out EHS audits and report any discrepancy.Measurement and analysis of EHS KPI's.Educational & Experience Requirements:University Engineer or Business Degree.University master's degree in Risk Prevention (3 specialities).Professional experience between 3 and 5 years, in Environment, Health & Safety Dpt. in big industrial manufacturing site (> 500 headcount) with EHS operational responsibilities.English fluent level.Good knowledge and understanding of ISO14001, ISO45001 and OHSAS18001, Desirable ISO 50001.Deep knowledge of legal EHS requirements.Desirable chemical knowledge.Competencies & Skills:Responsible, dependable and ethical.Solid capable person, with a strong initiative.Ability to communicate at different levels.Ability to take decisions, sense of urgency and teamwork oriented.Conflict Management and multitasking.Customer Focus / Management skills.Operational oriented and Adaptability.Collaboration / Teamwork & Accountability:Delegates, provides encouragement and support to people in accepting responsibility with accountability.Autonomy.Active listening skills.Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow's mobility.
