You'll work alongside young and proactive teammates.You'll manage, perform and ensure the activities related to Health and Safety are applied in the projects. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management), coordinate the Health and Safety area for Maintenance Services projects and much more.You'll specifically take care of providing technical expertise/guidance and support at every step of the project life cycle but also providing technical EHS leadership in Maintenance Services Projects.We'll look to you for:Support Site Management in achieving EHS performanceDrive the implementation of EHS policy on the field according to the Alstom/Region/Country-Cluster guidelines and targets, and the improvement of EHS results in the site.Advise, help, coach, support operational management in the EHS actions implementation to reach Alstom EHS objectives. Prepare the local yearly EHS plan consistent with Alstom strategy and objectives. Mobilize and coordinate with others to meet those objectives and deploy the plan. Monitor the right deployment of the plan.Ensure EHS Risk Assessment is done & appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Site.Prepare, implement and maintain emergency plans at Site level.Make sure activities of sub-contractors are under control with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operational areas.Has full authority and must stop any operational activity resulting in an immediate high risk to People or the Environment.Lead the EHS function in the site as member of the own prevention serviceMonitor, assist, coach, assess, develop the EHS teams in the site.Conduct induction programs for new EHS people in the site.Involve social and medical partners and communicate with them about EHS.Develop Site EHS Management SystemDevelop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools applicable to the Site specific for EHS Management System in line with Transport & Country/Cluster EHS Management System.Ensure that Alstom EHS standards and tools (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP), Transport Operational Performance in Environment, Transport Key processes) are deployed at Site level.EHS ComplianceMonitor compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, contractual and company requirements & propose actions to correct any gap.Maintain appropriate records and documentation of the Site.Monitor historical pollution & associated risks.Develop EHS culture in the siteInfluence the site EHS performance: facilitate change and EHS continuous improvement.Build the site EHS communication plan.Prepare and implement an EHS training plan and program with the support from HR and a local EHS communication plan.Report, Measure & ReviewEnsure that Accidents/Incidents are first prevented, and when occurring, reported, recorded, investigated and analyzed. Establish and communicate Return of Experience (REX) reports in case of severe or potentially severe accidents. Ensure Alstom EHS call for actions are deployed at site level.Prepare and submit monthly EHS reports. Feed EHS reporting system in line with Group reporting requirements. Is accountable for data quality of the Site.Organize and lead internal EHS audits and inspections of the EHS reporting process in the Country/Cluster.All about youWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:Educational Requirements:University Engineer or Business DegreeHealth & Safety Qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities in Spain: University MS in Prevention of Occupational Risks (Safety Specialist – Industrial Hygienist – Ergonomics Specialist)Degree level Environmental Qualification to Diploma or Degree level (desirable)ExperienceProfessional experience between 5 and 8 yearsExperience of 3 years in Environment, Health & SafetyHighly recommended experience in industrial or manufacturing sites.
