The EHS Manager Motion & Recycling Divisions will lead the EHS operations at the division level, providing leadership and oversight for EHS functional activities and the performance of multiple manufacturing operations within the division and related countries.
This role involves establishing strong working relationships with business and functional leaders and plant locations.
The EHS Manager will support Technical EHS projects regarding EHS technical requirements, best practices sharing, budget, and scheduling follow-up.
Responsibilities include:
Contributing to the Risk Assessment process.Coordinating internal audits from the Company EHS Management System.Managing the EHSMS process implementation. Directs EHS programs and activities to ensure compliance with national and local laws and regulations, as well as Company policies.
Specifically, the EHS Manager will perform the following functions within the scope of the division:
Support the Plants in the development and implementation of the EHS program and Company Guidelines.Ensure and support the implementation of the EHS Management System in the Plants.Contribute to Global Company reporting with data from your division, ensuring data quality and timeliness for consolidated reporting.Support and participate in the development and implementation of the technical aspects of the projects.Ensure that the Company's best practices and benchmarks are disseminated and implemented in the locations under his/her responsibility.Coordinate the internal audit program in the division in collaboration with Corporate EHS and participate in audits when necessary.Define and implement action plans to resolve findings.Define investments and resources necessary for the implementation of EHS programs and coordinate their implementation with the locations, with a strong focus on CAPEX follow-up.Ensure periodic risk assessments are carried out to evaluate and provide actions and resources based on the findings.Ensure proper communication and investigation of accidents and incidents, with the definition and implementation of action plans.Conduct plant inspections and assess EHS conditions.Maintain EHS technical competency through continuing education and propose necessary programs.Ensure identification, verification, and compliance with legal and other Company and/or Customer requirements.Meet with external companies, suppliers, and local authorities when required. Requirements: Academic degree in industrial, chemical, or environmental engineering or an equivalent education; specific training in management systems.Experience in EHS management in manufacturing and industrial environments, with the development of EHS programs at the corporate level in industrial and multinational companies.Familiarity with the use of computer tools and programs at the office level.Fluent written and spoken English communication; German is a plus.Knowledge of basic quality requirements and customer interactions for common aspects with EHS management systems at customer and qualification level.Experience in the management and implementation of EHS management systems (ISO 14001 - 45001) as well as internal audit processes as an auditor.
