ERM is seeking a motivated Health and Safety, Environmental & Sustainability Consultant with a passion for sustainability to join our growing team based in Spain.
The role will be based in Madrid but we offer flexible working arrangements.

Our team works with clients in energy, technology, and mining companies, through to multi-national corporate companies. The services provided by the EHS / OP Team include EHS strategy, designing and implementing EHS management systems, compliance management support, and delivering audit programmes, covering the breadth of environmental through to health and safety disciplines.
We continue to provide subject matter expertise alongside our digital services colleagues helping our clients get better value from their EHS and operational data to make better, more informed decisions.
Job Responsibilities: Support on the design and implementation of corporate Environmental, Health & Safety strategies and programs for HSE and Sustainability including diagnostics, compliance and technical audits, awareness raising, training programs, and hazard and risks identification and assessment.Support on the design and implementation of activities related to H&S Training and field coaching, including competency assessment, training programs for behavioral change, human factor analysis and assessment.Support on design and implementation of HSE and Sustainability governance processes aimed to drive Operational performance improvement of organizations, including deployment of risk and opportunities assessment, development of management systems, planning and delivery of auditing activities, design and delivery of training programs.Support on specific sustainability activities (e.g. Low Carbon Economy Transition projects, Carbon neutrality and climate change projects, Life-Cycle Assessments, circular economy, etc.). About You: Substantial, relevant experience across HSE and sustainability disciplines as a consultant or in industry.Master's degree in Environmental/Safety Engineering, Environmental/Natural Resources Management or other relevant disciplines.Working knowledge of English (C1) is required; knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus (preferred French).Good knowledge of Italian HSE legislation and international HSE & Sustainability Guidelines/Standards (e.g. SDGs, TCFD, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 26000, SA8000).
