We are looking for someone who is passionate about data in EMEA to join our network of data people supporting our global Internal Audit organization. Our global Internal Audit mandate is to provide independent and objective assurance to the Zurich Boards of Directors and Audit Committees as well as to the Group CEO and Senior Management. To deliver this mandate,Group Audit works as a one-global-team mindset across the 19 countries where our teams are located. Your role As a Data Analyst - Scientist your main responsibilities: Help our Audit Team understand the art of the possible with data aligned to their mission to protect our global businesses, generating a rich list of ideas to go after. Work quickly to tight deadlines, creating value from data that can help uncover unseen issues and delivering actionable insights that count. Own your self-development regards data tools and techniques. Train and coach auditors to perform data analytics and develop data analytics superpowers for themselves! Be an advocate of various data techniques such as visualization, text analytics, predictive modelling, and process mining. Qualifications and Skills As a Data Analyst - Scientist your skills and qualifications will ideally include: BSc/BA in Math, Statistics, Data Management, Econometric, Computer Science, Actuarial or related quantitative field from an accredited college or university. 5+ years' experience in data analytics in the insurance sector. Knowledge of Internal Audit is a plus, but we can skill up the right person! Critical thinker, innovator, and problem solver. Exhibits high professional and ethical behavior. Good communication skills, with good verbal and written English with the ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to business stakeholders. Good experience with some of the following: Dataiku, Alteryx, SPSS, R, Python, SQL, Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI.
