Duties : Assigns lanes to be used, operates control console, rents shoes, and sells items in the pro shop. Informs supervisor of equipment malfunctions as well as other items needing maintenance or repair. Assists in advertising and recruiting participants for leagues, tournaments, special events, and open play activities. May be required to schedule and administer these activities. Ensures activities are properly scheduled, facilities are set up, and rules and regulations are observed. Opens and closes the bowling facility as required. Required to issue equipment to patrons as required. Keeps management informed of problems. May assist with food service duties when required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Qualifying Experience : Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures. Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable; however, no experience is required.
Education : Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify.
FOREIGN EDUCATION : Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof that the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in a conventional U.S. education program.
