The EMEA Sales team is dedicated to developing focused strategies in providing our ActivPanel to support teachers and students in the classroom while building relationships with end users, resellers, and partners.
We are a collaborative group with a strong presence within the EMEA and APAC markets.
The Sales Business Development role is an end-user customer-facing role, creating demand and opportunity for sales of Promethean panels and other solutions, building relationships in a defined territory and supporting wider demand creation activities.
This role works pro-actively and independently and also with Promethean's reseller partners.
The role will involve the presentation of the Promethean value proposition to schools, school groups, and regional education administrations, as well as to prospects in other vertical markets within both the public and private sectors as appropriate.
The role requires travelling and driving a van with a panel in a flight case for demo and training purposes all around the region.
It also requires having a panel and equipment at home to do online demos and training.
Job Responsibilities and DutiesResearch of each given territory to identify end users that are showing intent to buy IFPD, to create opportunity through evangelizing the Promethean proposition and showcasing the product.Business development activities to gain presentation appointments, both onsite and virtual.Working with partners to support them with demonstration, product orientation, and meeting requests.Liaising with marketing and support resources to effect successful delivery of equipment.Delivering compelling customer and partner presentations of a high standard.Follow up on appointments to secure customer feedback.Where appropriate, delivery of orientation sessions on products after customer purchase for larger opportunities to ensure seamless implementation and to ensure customer use of equipment is maximized to ensure further sales.Competition benchmark and technical reports.Tenders: analysis of specs, product adaptation to tenders requests, technical reports, memorandums.End user marketing: creation, translation, and localization of items (articles, leaflets, blogs).Job Skills and QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills, customer empathy.Excellent presentation skills and creativity.Strong sales skills.Self-starting, independent attitude.Organizational skills.Analysis capacity.Creative writing.Marketing thinking.Ability to quickly learn the Promethean products and solutions.Strong knowledge of Promethean proposition, products & services.Basic technical knowledge of hardware and software.AV/Education market knowledge would be advantageous.At Promethean...
