Job Description: As Senior Analyst, Asset Control and Audit Process, you will be responsible for tracking performance against monthly targets, while also identifying bottlenecks and escalating noncompliance areas. You will be preparing high-quality presentations to support audit process strategy and business decisions while partnering cross-functionally with Commercial, Asset Productivity, Finance, and Accounting teams.
You will evaluate audit execution by performing variance risk analysis (pre-audit), verification of assets through physical or statistical inventories (audit), and assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls and action plans (post-audit). You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a variance risk forecast utilizing trend analysis and other statistical inventory controls methodologies.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy between financial records with physical inventory and records.
Validate variance drivers that will be used to justify fixed assets write-offs.
Report progress against approved Action Plans to mitigate future variances.
Validation of data and processes regarding physical inventory and statistical audits (system audit).
Use statistical methods to determine sample size and extrapolation methodologies when conducting physical inventory is prohibited.
Track noncompliance activity and escalate as needed for review and approval.
Leverage highly technical skillset to provide variance risk analytics and progress against annual audit plan.
Provide analytical and data processing support in pursuit of the department's short and long-term goals.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of business policies and processes.
Monitor SOPs for process accuracy and recommend revisions with Manager approval.
Participate in current department projects and other tasks as delegated by the Manager.
What We Look For: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or directly related field.
MBA preferred.
3+ years of experience in supply chain and asset inventory management and controls.
3+ years of experience with variance risk analysis and forecasting models.
