The B2B and Used Cars Manager is responsible for developing the representation of the total proposition of BYD within Direct Customer and dealer B2B channel: Corporate, fleet by dealer, and used cars.
This role requires coordination and full alignment with our Partners in the distribution channel, actively supporting by giving detailed market feedback in terms of needs, potential, and plan of action if applicable.
This position is well-suited for an experienced B2B and Used Cars Manager with a successful sales background, a strong network, and a track record in new business, corporate sales, rent-a-car, and LTR.
The candidate should maintain a strong sense of ownership and be highly motivated to adapt to a start-up phase with exponential growth perspectives, while securing remarketing operations and residual value protection.
The B2B and Used Cars Manager reports directly to the Country Manager of BYD Spain.
Key Responsibilities: Facilitate and support Fleet and Corporate sales in our distribution channel and with our Dealer partners, developing and implementing the necessary policies, procedures, and programs.Develop the Direct Customer business area, creating the brand proposition, coordination dynamic with Partners, and commercial policies.Acquire new Direct Customers to realize solid car parks at fleet owners.Negotiate on volumes and model-mix (in line with BYD Europe target) to finalize contracts with Direct Customers.Make quotation proposals, calculate margins, and take budget into account.Define, coordinate, and facilitate Direct Customer sales strategy and operations across our Channel Partners.Maintain good customer relations on board level with Direct Customers and channel Partners.Develop sales activities and incentives towards Direct Customers in a structured manner to increase sales in the fleet, leasing, and rental market.Collaborate proactively with other departments to develop plans and strategies to meet customer needs and grow profitable sales.Keep related administration up to date, including contracts and communication towards channel Partners.Develop the local implementation of European agreements in cooperation with the European KAM department and channel Partners.Develop fleet by dealer policy within the network.Manage and remarket BYD internal pool cars. Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: A relevant education at Higher Vocational (Bachelor) level, such as commercial/business economics or engineering.Solid experience working in an NSC distribution model, preferably with Fleet sales business.Previous knowledge of current BYD Spain Dealer partners is a plus.Extensive experience and proven results in a commercial role in the automotive sector, preferably at a leasing company or OEM.Solid knowledge and experience with MS Office.Good negotiation technique.Good insight in figures.
