As our suite of payroll and treasury solutions evolves - including Earned Wage Access, instant payments, and the many other related solutions in our roadmap - we are seeking experienced Business Development Managers ("BDM") who will be responsible for driving growth in this exciting, high growth area through identifying prospects, qualifying opportunities, and leading successful sales processes for these solutions. In this function, the BDM acts as a representative of the Company as well as a liaison between the prospect and internal CloudPay representatives. They will partner with Pricing, Legal, Implementation and Operations throughout the lifecycle of a prospect becoming a customer.
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities Build and execute a business development plan to deliver against target. Prospect for potential new clients and convert them into new clients for payroll and treasury services including earned wage access solutions. Follow-up and manage all assigned leads (from Sales Development lead generation, web inquiries, third parties, etc.). Handle sales cycles and present the value of our global payroll, earned wage access and other Treasury solutions. Reach assigned activity plans. Prepare proposals that speak to the prospect's needs, concerns, and objectives. Develop a strategic selling approach for each prospect utilizing MEDDPICC. Attend industry functions as assigned and approved by management, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends. Liaise with sales leadership, sales colleagues, Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants, and Alliances as necessary. Review weekly progress against sales plan and activity plan with sales leadership. Attributes and Experience Required Experience in selling SaaS technology, mobile apps, payroll, treasury, and/or earned wages access solutions and business services to Enterprise sized multinational organizations (> 1000 total employees). Experience in the Human Capital Management sector, linked to payroll is a plus, but not required. Experience selling into global organizations preferred, but primarily focused on US or EMEA HQ's, with global footprints, with multiple influencers and decision-makers. Experience selling to Payroll, HR, Finance and Accounting personas. Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment, and comfortable with ambiguity. Proven experience of thinking strategically about business development opportunities and proactively identifying opportunities to improve targeting, prospecting, and closing.
