Position: Education Project Manager Project: IMM-Care project Teaching Unit/ Strategy Area IMM-CARE: BOOSTING CLINICAL RESEARCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF SOCIETY.
VHIR leads the WP on Training, and the Project Manager will support the team involved in the project for excellent execution to facilitate and promote high-quality, innovative, and effective training programmes that align with the institute's strategic goals.
JOB DESCRIPTION Education and qualifications: Required: University degree, preferably in life sciences or related fields.Experience and knowledge: Required:Proven experience in training activities, management, and coordination tasks.Ability to autonomously coordinate project partners and supervise task execution in projects of certain complexity.Proven experience in European collaborative projects' coordination and management tasks, preferably in the field of health research and education.Full proficiency in English and good command of Spanish and/or Catalan.Excellent communication and influence skills with ease of dealing with senior international scientists, healthcare professionals, and the rest of the team and stakeholders involved in the project.Desired:PhD in life sciences-related field will be highly valued.Complementary training in project management and/or people development and talent management will be a plus.Demonstrated knowledge about physician-scientists career pathway and their opportunities for research training.Previous experience working as training manager or organizer in health research institutions and/or hospital environments will be a plus.Good IT skills, especially practical experience with Learning Management Systems (i.e., Moodle) will be an asset.Practical experience in survey design and data analysis will also be beneficial.Personal skills: strong organizational and planning capacities, proactive, results-oriented professional with close attention to detail and with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.Main responsibilities and duties:Contribute to define the training strategy of the IMM-Care project to create a translation continuum from bench to bedside and vice versa, improving the interplay between basic, translational, and clinical research groups.Planning, implementation, and monitoring of the different tasks of the project's training work package.Design and perform training needs' assessment to define the target groups and customize the educational content.Coordinate the design, development, and implementation tasks to create new training initiatives.Clinician-Scientist Training Programme
