Your mission Develop and execute a comprehensive educational strategy, aligning with EBMT's mission, vision, and strategic priorities.
Responsibilities and Tasks Ensure the Scientific Council's leadership in educational governance, collaborating with the Educational Task Force to deliver high-quality initiatives, including continuing medical education (CME) programs and digital learning solutions.
Lead the Education Directorate, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence while managing the Scientific Programmes and Learning Activities units.
Provide line management for unit managers, including performance oversight, professional development, recruitment, and retention efforts.
Represent EBMT in strategic partnerships with professional societies and stakeholders, expanding the society's educational impact globally.
Oversee the scientific and educational programmes at EBMT events, including the Annual Meeting and the grants and scientific awards process.
Drive the development of innovative educational initiatives that leverage emerging technologies and scientific advancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Communications, to enhance member engagement and extend the reach of EBMT's educational offerings.
Actively contribute to the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee, fostering inclusivity within EBMT's educational programs and community.
Requirements: University degree in Medicine , specialising in Haematology Fluent in English Publications in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at international congresses +10 years' medical experience in a hospital, working in a hematopoietic cell transplant unit Team management experience Experience in supervising educational programs in the HCT and CT settings, both small/mid-size events and congresses, presential and online Experience in developing HCT and CT educational resources such as handbooks and online library resources Experienced user of Microsoft products, particularly Excel Expert in Cellular therapies, CAR-T Familiarized with E-Learning platforms for educational purposes Basic knowledge in pedagogic aspects for a successful medical training Experience working in the not-for-profit sector Ability to communicate effectively with people in a multicultural / multilingual environment Team management and leadership Problem solving skills Analytical and strategic thinking Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines Initiative and innovation Networking Willingness to travel to national and international venues.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel Desirable PhD in any field related to hematopoietic cell transplantation Experience in collaborating with international societies in HCT and CT education.

Full-time position and indefinite contract (37.5 hours).
Flexible working hours (starting from 8 to 10 am and finish accordingly).
