About the Role
As our Editorial Operations Assistant, you will:
Assist local management with record keeping, managing contracts and correspondence.Act as security officer and coordinator for our data protection officer.Support the bureaus in Spain and Portugal with travelling to major events, accreditations, visa applications, and more.Process invoices in coordination with the Thomson Reuters finance and accounting teams.Cooperate with vendors and internal sourcing department.Manage our fleet of company vehicles.Manage the local subscriptions (TV cables, mobile phones, news feeds).Familiarize new employees with the company systems, coordinating with the IT departments.Liaise with Facilities in the areas of shipment management, health and safety, maintenance, and business continuity.Organize and coordinate company and customer events.Cooperate with the wider European Editorial Operations Team.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Editorial Operations Assistant if you have:
Ability to work in a highly complex ambiguous environment.Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines, time management, and attention to details.Strong problem-solving, project management, and collaboration skills.Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Fluency in Spanish and English (knowledge of Portuguese would be an advantage).Advanced level experience in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
