.Our third-party due diligence (VANTAGE) team assesses our clients' current, former, or potential counterparties, looking for any issues that might pose a reputational or business risk to them, wherever they may be in the world. The work is compliance-focused and volume-driven.The editor's role is to ensure that all written work for VANTAGE clients is timely, accurate, well written and well presented.Please submit a copy of your CV in English.Tasks and Responsibilities:Coordinate with Researchers, Senior Researchers, Research Supervisors, and Quality Assurance & Alignment team to manage due diligence work conducted under the VANTAGE programme so that multiple reports with tight deadlines can be juggled simultaneously; the ability to maintainhigh quality at a fast turnaround rate is key.Edit, format and provide critical feedback where appropriate on VANTAGE reports produced by research teams. Adapt content where necessary for methodological consistency.Referencing SharePoint and Knowledge Management channels, ensure that reports are written in a current standard or current client-specific template.Compare risk ratings and report level scope across jurisdictions within each programme to ensure consistency and comparability across reports.Liaise with Researchers, Senior Researchers, Research Supervisors, and Quality Assurance & Alignment team to ensure that all online content is regularly reviewed and kept up to date. Keep records of progress, including the use of SharePoint tracking system.Contribute to the development of the VANTAGE product. Assess ways of improving readability for online output and reports, including through the use of graphics.Edit and proof other types of documents (e.G. marketing material) for grammar, clarity, and style as required.Essential:Education to degree level in English or media studiesNative or equivalent fluency in English and excellent written skillsDemonstrated excellence in proofreading and copy editing to house styleProven experience working on multiple editorial projects simultaneouslyAbility to keep clear lines of communication on deliverablesAbility to work under pressure in a fast-turnaround environmentKnowledge of research techniques, databases, and archives on the general internetMS Office proficiency and ability in the use of editorial softwarePreferred:Validated experience of operating successfully in an editorial positionExperience or interest in designing reportsUnderstanding of compliance issuesKnowledge of DTP/graphics packages (InDesign/Illustrator)Experience of using content management system (CMS)Ability to also edit in a regional languageControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarised in the full job offer.
