The Editor is responsible for crafting creative stories with strong artistic and technical skills. This highly creative Editor can edit diverse styles including commercial spots, brand videos, animatics, web content, narrative, historical, motivational, documentary and training videos. Understanding of broadcast specifications for key regional and global markets would be useful, but not essential.
Implementing title changes, legal lines, cut downs and mid-level pack/label replacements to audio playback and knowledge quality checking their own work to a competent level.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides invaluable creative input on all projects and throughout the post-production process
• Work closely with creative teams to craft visually compelling creative stories under tight deadlines
• Demonstrate the technical and creative vision to collaborate with project teams, as well as work independently, to achieve the best possible results
• Be innovative while adhering to client brand guidelines — and when creating new campaigns
• Transform footage and narrative scripts into powerful visual stories and highly kinetic pieces for screens of all sizes
• Editing with Final Cut Pro and Premiere
• Execute compression and scratch track audio recording as needed.
• Performs related multimedia functions such as: record audio, audio & video duplication
• Improve working knowledge of other related post-production software
• Maintains quality control standards to ensure that all work meets the highest possible standards
• Demonstrates ability to set priorities while handling multiple projects
• Continuously explores cutting-edge, current, and unique production processes/procedures
REQUIRED SKILLS
• 7-10 years' experience editing and motion graphics. Being familiar with AI tools applied to video editing will be highly valued.
• Be an expert in Premiere and skilled in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Other applications such as: Mocha, PFTrack and Cinema4D an advantage
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Effective independent problem solving
• Able to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Advanced in English (c1)
