We are looking for candidates with a deep understanding of modern Edge architecture needs and constraints, and experience across the full stack with a "create tools, not band-aids" DevOps mindset.

You'll get to build a new level of services on the Edge enabling and improving our SaaS business from the ground up with the ability to influence the product and architecture and lots of opportunities for growth.
The Position: The Software Engineer is a member of the platform team (7+ engineers) and applies knowledge on design principles and practices in the implementation of complex, enterprise-scale software systems.
General responsibilities include design, development, testing, maintenance and continuous improvement of the core software stack.
Your Key Responsibilities: Software Development: This is a hands-on software development position to write high-quality software that will perform at scale, be supportable, and be extensible.
Leadership: Ensure a culture that values technical excellence together with collaboration mindset.
Platform Components/Services Ownership: In collaboration with the Platform Owners, since the platform is intended for developers, you may take ownership over specific requirements related to platform components or services, defining the details and prioritizing based on other developer needs.
Process & Operations: Ensure the software stack integrates with our existing CI/CD pipeline and contribute to continuous improvement; independently design, plan and deliver high-quality software.
Who You Are: You hold a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or directly related discipline.
You have 4+ years of hands-on industry experience as a software engineer with 2+ years experience in contemporary platforms extended from cloud (e.G: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Kustomize) and 2+ years experience in development using AWS services like IAM, S3, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.
You have experience in technical design discussions to come up with the most effective technical solution.
You are a quick learner with the ability to understand complex workflows and develop and validate innovative solutions to solve difficult problems.
You have successfully built, deployed, and supported enterprise-scale applications in the edge and/or in a multi-instance cloud
