Your key responsibility in this role is to ensure that the payment of our Primos is executed correctly and on time, as well as the post payroll payments. To achieve this goal, you will develop a strong network with global & local payroll vendors, HR partners, local finance, and accounting teams. You'll have the opportunity to get involved in or lead projects with the continuous improvement mindset that will help us deliver services that will delight our customers by streamlining processes.About You- You understand, embrace and demonstrate our culture.- You are skilled at building, reviewing and executing monthly/weekly payrolls.- Detail orientation, customer service, proactiveness and fast issue resolution define your approach as you navigate multiple high priority tasks.ResponsibilitiesWith our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:- Validate the trial runs executed by the local vendors and identify discrepancies.- Resolve discrepancies with technical and/or business personnel, implement corrective measures, and retest as required.- Be responsible for the preparation and processing of on-cycle payrolls.- Be responsible for the preparation and processing of off-cycle payrolls including severance packages.- Be responsible for the reconciliation, balancing and transmission of all vendor and bank interfaces/reports of payroll related data.- Respond to all enquiries within service level agreements.- Be the point of contact for local payroll vendor(s).- Complete SOX controls established to ensure the data integrity and accuracy.- Prepare/review the journal entries related to payroll and serve as a point of contact for finance and accounting teams as needed.- Be responsible for process documentation and updates for the processes owned.The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy- Relevant business experience/skills in Payroll for Germany or Netherlands (minimum 1 year of experience) are valuable.- Experience in other European Countries Payroll is also highly valuable.- Experience working in a Shared Services Centre dealing with multi-country payrolls.- University degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or related discipline.- Language Skills: - Fluent English and Dutch or German. - Additional languages are a plus: French, Flemish, Dutch, Spanish & Portuguese.- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).- Preferred: - HR or Accounting previous experience. - Understanding of European legislation (tax, social security, retirement, pension & other statutory/regulatory requirements).Personal Qualities- High analytical and problem-solving skills.- Time management.- Attention to details.- Flexibility to work in a multi office/time zone/cross-cultural environment.- Team player & good communication skills.Our cultureWe share the passion and entrepreneurial flair of our founder and are guided by our three culture pillars - Fearless, Family and Founders, which inspire our Primos to be the best they can be and drive us forward in all we do.
