We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Economic Research Analyst to support our Economics and Corporate Development & Planning team. In this role, you will conduct economic and market research, analyze data, and provide insights to help shape business strategies. You will also stay informed on global economic developments and deliver impactful presentations and forecasts to senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities: Perform economic analysis and forecasting using statistical and econometric models.Develop and deliver management presentations on economic and market trends.Prepare weekly and monthly economic briefings for senior leadership.Create and maintain economic forecasting models and data analytics initiatives.Research and collect economic and financial data from official and third-party sources.Synthesize findings into research papers, policy briefs, infographics, and other deliverables.Develop databases with data from multiple sources, resolving data issues as needed.Review academic literature, trade publications, and government reports.Conduct industry and market research on various topics to inform strategic planning.Lead research projects and align with business stakeholders on key planning processes. Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or a related field.1–3 years of hands-on experience in economic consulting or quantitative research.Strong writing and editing skills for research and communication materials.Familiarity with global and regional economic data sources such as Eurostat, OECD, World Bank, IMF, and other relevant governmental and industry databases.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong understanding of public policies, economics, and data analytics, particularly within the European context.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Programming skills in R, Python, or VBA are preferred.
