As part of the Program Production Department, this position will be responsible for ensuring support for missions managed by the New York headquarters throughout the entire project cycle (formulation, planning, monitoring and evaluation, and closure) of projects funded by ECHO and EUROPEAID, and ensuring compliance with donor regulations.
This position supports work with the organization's contract management tool (Gespra).
Las principales actividades que desempeñaras son las siguientes: ECHO and European Union projects implemented by the New York headquarters: Supports, in collaboration with the ECHO-US Coordination in the Production Department, the management of ECHO and European Union projects implemented by the New York headquarters, proactively monitoring these projects and maintaining direct communication with the donor. In coordination with the New York headquarters and its regional office in East Africa, provides support from the Madrid headquarters to New York missions in the management and preparation of ECHO and European Union proposals and contracts signed by the Madrid headquarters and implemented by East Africa missions. Supports the monitoring of alert indicators that allow timely correction of possible deviations and promotes decision-making to adapt the contract to the different execution challenges that may arise. Encourages the collection of lessons learned from the implementation of these projects to improve the organization's work processes and project implementation. Participates in the consolidation of knowledge of ECHO and European Union donors and its dissemination to missions. Supports the control and management of risks arising from the execution of ECHO and EUROPEAID programs implemented by the New York headquarters, including timely response to the requirements of the Audit and Quality Department and external audits. Manages institutional documentation related to contracts, particularly (but not exclusively) in relation to contracts funded by ECHO and implemented by Action Against Hunger USA missions. In coordination with the Production Coordinators, supports missions in the management and preparation of proposals and contracts under their responsibility, ensures the correct submission of proposals and reports to donors, and the monitoring and maintenance of donor platforms. Collaborates in maintaining institutional information systems for contract management (GESPRA) and collaborates with other departments and missions in their dissemination, maintenance, and development. Participates in the collection of key indicators for project implementation monitoring and subsequent analysis. Esta descripción encaja contigo? Experience in project cycle management. Minimum 1 year of experience, desirable field experience and experience with ECHO and the European Union. Knowledge in budget monitoring. Excellent command of Office. Availability for short-term international travel. Proficiency in Spanish and English is essential. French is highly valued.
