If you're ready to take off with us, keep reading!We are looking for a Global Head of MICE to join our Commercial team!Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will lead a team of 10+ Group Booking specialists and team leaders globally. This role can be based from Barcelona, Birmingham or London.What will you do?Define the overall MICE strategy for TravelPerk GloballyBe the highest point of escalation for any Customer facing issuesReport on the performance and profitability of the Business UnitImprove the tools and processes for the Business UnitGrow the Revenue and profitability of the MICE Business UnitSupport strategic prospect meetings and shortlist presentations as needed to position the MICE offeringLead your teamRecruit, develop, manage, coach & mentor a world-class teamHave an in-depth and detailed understanding of MICE to confidently provide mentorship for your teamBe the leader of the team and engage the individualsManage effective work allocation across teams and team membersInput to the overall strategyConnect with the Country Managers, SVP, Head of Account Management and Customer Support Leadership team in order to deliver the best value for TravelPerkWork with product to leverage platform features and maximum efficiency of teamsBuild effective supplier relationships to drive economy of scaleCoordinate cross functional initiativesWork with the Chief Revenue Officer on Revenue Management strategyWhat will you need?5 years + experience in MICE in a B2B environmentPrevious people management experienceCapacity to design global strategyPersistence & resilience; humble & scrappy get-it-done mindsetAnalytical skills for team and individual reportingPerfect written and spoken EnglishReporting skillsStakeholder management skillsExcellent project management capabilitiesHow will you be measured?Revenue generated by the Business UnitProfitability of the Business UnitCustomer SatisfactionEngagement from the MICE teamWhat do we offer?Competitive compensation including equity in the companyGenerous vacation days so you can rest and rechargeHealth perks such as private healthcare or gym allowance depending on your location"Flexible compensation plan" to help you diversify and increase the net salaryFlexibility to work from home most of the time with core hoursUnforgettable TravelPerk events including travel to one of our hubsUdemy for business account to continue your developmentMental health support tool for your wellbeingExponential growth opportunitiesFlexible Work PolicyYou will need to be based in one of our hub countries, some positions are only open in specific locations.
