TERMS
- The project is set to commence in JUNE 2025 and is anticipated to last for a minimum of 10 months, with the potential for extension.

- Opportunities are available for both fixed-term employment and freelance contracts, catering to the preferences of the successful candidate.
- The role demands a commitment of 56 hours per week and 6 days per week, reflecting the intensive nature of the project and its critical timelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Join our dynamic team in Tarragona, Spain, where a state-of-the-art facility is being constructed for the production of industrial gases. This ambitious project involves creating massive superstructures for methane and ethylene production, equivalent in size to a nine-story building, to be transported to the United States.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction issues that could adversely affect construction, pre-commissioning, or commissioning phases.
- Analyze and critique project specifications and requirements to ensure alignment with design objectives.
- Contribute to the design of E&I scope as needed and address E&I constructability issues.
- Monitor E&I Carry Over Work from vendors to site, ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Inspect site E&I work, including installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to all relevant codes, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Assess the volume and quality of work performed by E&I subcontractors, supporting issue resolution and providing recommendations on changes and challenges.
- Maintain accurate as-built E&I documentation and assist in the management of E&I materials logistics.
- Verify E&I installation/equipment for compliance with preservation standards prior to commissioning.
- Engage in system completion activities, including pre-power up checks, testing, and commissioning.
- Participate in E&I Mechanical Completion inspections and testing, contributing to system integrity and functionality.
- Assist in the management of E&I contracts, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and contractual obligations.
- Review construction progress and liaise with subcontractors to propose corrective actions if necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in E&I construction, focusing on large industrial or chemical plants.
- Proven experience in instrumentation installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in E&I engineering.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise subcontractors and coordinate activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the E&I sector.
