This role is accountable for the formulation and execution of PR strategies and event management initiatives, and more. The mission of this role is to enhance SamBoat's brand visibility, media mentions, take events presence to the next level and help strengthen relationships with key external stakeholders through effective public relations and event management. This role will focus in our key markets of France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Your Responsibilities:Public Relations:Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance brand visibility, reputation and media worth.Write and distribute press releases for new product launches, company news, and significant events.Build and maintain relationships with journalists, securing media coverage and managing media inquiries in our key markets (FR, DE, UK, US).Monitor and manage online reputation, addressing any reviews or feedback promptly.Key Deliverables: Monthly press releases and media placements.Event Management:Plan and execute both virtual and in-person events such as trade shows presence, product launches, and customer appreciation events.Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, design and approvals, vendor management, and budget management.Engage brand ambassadors to represent SamBoat at events and promotional activities, when appropriate.Develop event marketing materials (merchandising and other marketing assets) and promotional campaigns to drive attendance and engagement.Evaluate event success through post-event reports and performance metrics.Key Deliverables: Successful planning and execution of events, measured by attendance, engagement, use of budget and sales enablement metrics.Collaboration and Strategy:Work closely with other marketing team members to align efforts with overall marketing strategies.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, content, and owner management teams.Budget Management:Take ownership of budget allocation for the area, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.Implement cost-effective strategies to achieve maximum impact and results.Profile Requirements:Background in journalism, with proven track record in public relations and event management, with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in successfully delivering value with the responsibilities of the role.Native written, oral and interpersonal communication skills in English.
