Description: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, management, and completion of a wide scope of projects.
The involvement of the Project Manager starts at the pre-sales stage during the design and solution-engineering phase and ends once the solution or service has been delivered to the client and passes onto the operational phase.
The Project Manager works closely with customers, sales, and the technical team to develop project scope of work, acceptance criteria/definition of done, necessary documents, and project plans.
In doing so, she/he uses project management skills to manage project roles, identify resource requirements, meet training needs, define project deliverables, provide customer satisfaction and reporting structures to ensure the quality of projects.
Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of projects.
Develop project scopes and acceptance criteria together with the technical team, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Carry out risk management and provide advice on the management of projects.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Manage project budget and assigned project resources.
Present reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Lead project execution to successful conclusions and lessons learned.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Assist in Kick Off Meetings and help the Head of PMO to assign tasks to the team.
Assist in Management meetings and reporting to the rest of the team.
Requirements Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools.
Reasonable knowledge of current technologies and uses.
Problem-solving and decision-making techniques with a proactive "can-do" attitude.
Considerable ability to interpret technical procedures to customers.
Proficient writing, visual design, and presentation skills.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, customers, and company employees.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
LAN networks IT infrastructure topologies and technology.
VSAT networking in marine environments knowledge is a plus.
