ERP Enterprise ArchitectWhat this position is about - Purpose: The ERP Enterprise Architect is one of the key positions in the Enterprise architecture Function reporting into the Enterprise Architecture lead. The role is focused on the optimal technology design of core ERP Solutions within JTI, relative to JTI's business requirements. This position is responsible for developing the 3+ year ERP Solution architecture roadmap for ERP finance, Logistics, R&D; and PLM Core Capabilities, ensuring both its long term operational efficiency and sustainability. He/She works with the relevant Vendors (SAP) to understand software tool capabilities, product development road maps and influence the vendor's product development and direction. He/she develops recommendations and guidelines, including the associated pros and cons, for ERP solutions and other relevant tools to meet business needs. He/she assists the SDC and BTS Teams for the solution design validation and technical inter-dependencies assessments.
He/She ensures JTI's ERP strategies are consistent with global IT strategies and objectives, business requirements and results in the maximization of ERP Platform usage in JTI. He/she supports the EA lead and contributes to the establishment and reinforcement of the EA practice at JTI, leveraging the EA framework principle, reference model and tools.
What will you do - Responsibilities:Strategic Planning for JTI's ERP solutions:
- Define and maintain the solution architecture roadmap for Core solutions platform considering the Industry directions, Business requirements, technology changes, and the vendor roadmaps.
- Leverage existing JTI communication platforms to share the roadmaps on regular changes.
- Focus in the areas that are unclear from the Vendors roadmaps and ensure that decisions taken are considering the risks associated.Define and Maintain the JTI's ERP platform architecture standards:
- Establish and maintain consistent Architecture standards for ERP Core solutions at JTI considering Integration, UX and BI requirements and evolutions.
- Promote and communicate the architecture standards on yearly basis.
- Propose potential optimization to simplify the architecture.Strengthen Long term relationship with ERP vendors:
- Establish strong working relationship with ERP Vendor and all other 3rd parties whose systems interface with core ERP Solutions.
- Leverage the relationship to ensure strong support for JTI and obtain influence over future designs of new ERP enhancements and functionality.Innovation Leadership:
- He/She must stay up to date with the technology and industry trends.
- Leverage PoC to evaluate new technologies.
- Maintain a high level of expertise through learning, conference, customer focus groups.Enterprise Architecture Support:
- Support the definition and implementation of the EA framework within JTI for the ERP capabilities supported by the ERP Solutions.
- Promote the EA framework to the Key BTS, GTC and Security stakeholder.Who are we looking for - Requirements:M.
