Reference: 23-062_SS_ES IDIBELL is looking for an Artificial Intelligence Consultant for the Ethics Committee for Investigation with medicinal products (CEIm) of the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge. About the research group
The Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge is a reference hospital for clinical research in various therapeutic areas. The Ethics Committee for Investigation with medicinal products (CEIm) at Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge evaluated 545 biomedical research projects. The technical secretariat is a basic body for the day-to-day management of the committee and acts as the interlocutor on behalf of the CEIm as regards communication with all agents concerned, including the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices.
About the role
Ability to work autonomously and to work in teams.
Main duties and responsibilities will be the following:
Analysis of ethical dilemmas related to new technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI), that appear in the evaluation of Clinical Trials with Medicinal Products, observational studies with medicines for human use and other research projects presented to the Ethics Committee for investigation with Medicinal Products.Advice to the technical secretariat as well as to the members of the plenary of the Committee on aspects related to AI in the field of biomedical research. - Previous experience in AI consulting
Education and training
- BSc in Informatics or Engineering
- MSc or PhD in digital humanities or AI
Technical skills
- Advanced user of Office tools
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
Languages
- Good command of the Catalan, Spanish and English languages
