The successful candidate has extensive localization project / program management experience, is highly organized, must have the ability to communicate well and to manage multiple assignments and stakeholders simultaneously.
They will have the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility.
They will possess the ability to complete a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision. They will be comfortable in finding solutions to make the best use of the technical tooling.
They will be comfortable working in an international, fast-paced environment, where change and ambiguity are present as we constantly grow, improve and innovate.
Note that this is a Project Manager role (operational),
not a linguistic role.
Key job responsibilities Manage localization projects end-to-end, working closely with language specialists, internal business partners, external vendors and other departmentsManage and drive improvement of customer-facing quotation workflowsDevelop customer-based project plans and workflows; manage time, budget, and resourcesSet up projects in proprietary TMS / CAT tool, resolve TMS / CAT-tool related client and vendor issues and address knowledge gapsIdentify, communicate, and proactively mitigate project risksConduct post-mortem meetings and document project learningsWrite, edit, review and maintain localization process documentsCreate and analyze reports of localization data, to identify patterns and derive insights through large volumes of data around volume, quality, cost, turnaround time and productivity About the team
Being part of Translation Services Operations, the Service Delivery team drives the forefront of client-facing interactions with existing internal business partners that receive direct localization services from TS Ops, offering end-to-end project management service that includes project scoping, budget discussion & pricing offers, jobs assignment & delivery, client satisfaction and process improvements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience in program or project managementBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical / IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
