Senior Project Engineer/ Project Manager We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer/ Project Manager for our office in Barcelona, Spain.
We need an engineer with experience in project management, either in a client or consulting company, to actively participate in a wide range of project work, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions.
The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:
Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering.Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time schedule, procurement strategy, and financial plan.Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.The role of the Project Engineer is to deliver to the client a satisfactory quality of services within the defined budget and planning.
What is the role about? We are looking for a Project Engineer to:
Manage project documentation and control, cost control, scheduling, and construction supervision.Comfortably take on tasks that require various skills and prioritize task completion.Have experience in the complete life cycle of projects, including master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works, and main infrastructure needs, contracting, and construction management and supervision.Work on industrial environment projects with scope in process engineering; equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, automation, etc.Possess knowledge in civil works, building utilities, and process utilities.Experience in permitting and procurement is an asset.Have valuable experience in mid to large-sized projects (> 1M€ / > 10M€).Requirements: Industrial engineer specialization in one of the following qualifications: Industrial Organization, Chemicals or Bio-Chemicals, Mechanicals (or similar).More than 5 years of relevant experience in industrial projects and project management.Fluency in English and Spanish is a must; French or German is an asset.Driver License B.Knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, AutoCAD.Candidate should have a global mindset, focus on results, be challenging, pragmatic, with proactive and leadership skills.On-site in Barcelona office - Open to national mobility depending on the project.Benefits: Permanent contract.Safety, Prevention, and Well-being are basics for us.Specialized in-house training designed to help you take your next career step.Truly a place to spread your wings: career path.No glass ceiling!
