We invite you to join our team in the following role: Senior Production Manager Mission and context of the role The Senior Production Manager is based in León, Guanajuato in one of the biggest sites of Michelin around the world. He/she will be responsible for managing the security, quality and efficiency for its perimeter on site. The person holding this position will report to the Production Director for the entire factory; the Senior Production Manager will also manage a team of approximately 9 direct reports.
General key expected achievements Delivery (CT and MT) of products conforming to the workshop's engagement while respecting Safety, People, Machine, Quality, Delivery and Cost performance and other standards.Coherence of jobs / competencies with the current needs and to develop the accountability of OR teams.Continuous performance improvement in the Workshop in line with the plans while respecting our annual strategic priorities and Global Safety approaches.Responsible for the development and management of the budget. Main challenges Inspire the direct and indirect teams around a Safety and Quality culture aligned to Michelin standards and also ICARE Leadership Model.Efficient management of all the types of resources at her/his disposal.Identifies and develops talent within and outside his/her team.Ensures the development of security team members, applies the personnel practices according to Michelin processes. What do you need to successfully contribute to our purpose? Engineering or business academic background.Previous experience in manufacturing environments and leading operational and tactical teams.Solid people skills and proven experience developing people.English business proficiency. How success looks like in the First 3 months? The initial training plan is completed.Understanding of the production system at Michelin.Understanding and engaging with the ICARE Leadership Model.Demonstrate full awareness and commitment to the security and quality standards of Michelin.
