Job Description
Boeing is currently seeking to recruit a Labor Relations Advisor to be based in Europe. This role offers a great mix of strategy and "hands-on" work, for a passionate person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who takes pride in their relationship building and facilitation skills. This position can be based out of selected locations in France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden or the United Kingdom.
Position Responsibilities: Providing sound, pragmatic advice and guidance to the business on employee relations matters, including the interpretation and application of industrial instruments.
Providing advice and guidance to the business on the management of disputes and workplace issues.
Coordinating and assisting in the planning, preparation and management of any collective contracts negotiations.
Supporting management in their dealings with employee representative bodies.
Leading and supporting business transformation/change projects.
Liaising with internal legal counsel for the drafting of Employment/Industrial documentation.
Driving, coordinating and administering the organisation's consultative forums.
Developing and facilitating training for first line Managers in conjunction with the broader human resources team.
Preferred Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in law, human resource management or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in supporting and advising on organisational transformation and change programs.
Significant experience in a similar Employee Relations role in a large, complex organisation.
Strong working knowledge of relevant employment/industrial laws and experience with containment/positive employee relations.
Proven experience in understanding and interpreting Industrial Instruments and Collective Bargain Agreements (CBAs).
Substantial experience in dealing with unions and employee representatives.
Ability to think strategically in the context of the whole enterprise.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
This position is hybrid, meaning that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
