Green Genius, an international developer of renewable energy assets, is looking for a Technical Project Manager to contribute to the company's growth story.
EPC DEPARTMENT GOALImplementation of Solar power projects within the optimal time schedule and budget, using the most efficient solutions and high-quality equipment.
Key tasksConduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific solar PV project (solar large scale and rooftop installations as well as other technologies).Evaluate and propose optimal technical solutions and cost estimations for a specific PV project (solar high voltage and rooftop installations as well as other technologies).Draft the scope of work and estimate the respective project budget.Create and distribute RFPs to potential engineering, environmental and EPC subcontractors, establish evaluation metrics, and select winning proposals.Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and other agreements with engineering, EPC subcontractors and vendors, and oversee all subcontractors' work.Manage negotiations with grid operators and other developers to coordinate shared connection solutions.Technical support for Due Diligence process (buy/sell side).Develop and maintain project timeline, identify critical path and key milestones for project's success.Communicate with and assist project development managers in communicating with utilities and authority having jurisdictions regarding interconnection, permitting, and other regulatory compliance issues.Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related Engineering fields.Proven track record of 5+ years of solar project management experience, including ground mount projects over 10 MW.In-depth knowledge of national regulations, solar permitting, construction legislation (including tax law), and other PV system regulatory codes.Ability to read drawings, diagrams, and other design documentation.Strong leadership and communication skills, self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving capability.Possess strong organizational and time management skills.Self-starter with excellent presentation skills with constant attention to details and accuracy.Self-disciplined and result oriented.Team and collaborative focus.Fluent in English is an advantage.BenefitsGreat office in the business center of Madrid.Work with a creative team.Exciting job with exciting opportunities.Possibility of professional and personal development in a dynamic and international team.Competitive pay.Career opportunities within the businesses of the Group - no country is too far, no business is unfamiliar, no position is too high.And most important - freedom to think outside the box, create and realize your ideas and be yourself!
