We're hiring for a Legal Counsel as part of Dentsu in Madrid.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Provides legal advice to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation on relevant subjects to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and the protection of Dentsu's commercial interests.Drafts, negotiates and advises on commercial and creativity agreements both with clients and providers (e.g., content creators, talents).Delivers adequate legal support (templates, advice, risk management, subject matter knowledge) to accelerate and underpin the expansion of company strategy and its clients' network.Provides legal support on various matters to commercial and creative teams in contractual negotiations to achieve the most advantageous and/or beneficial legal and commercial terms for Dentsu.Assists in developing and delivering training and legal risk management initiatives to senior management in managing legal risks (e.g., business training, legal updates, etc.
).Helps to implement best practices in compliance, contracts management, intellectual property, data protection, advertising, IT, litigation and/or MA (having regard to the Legal Counsel's specialist area).Assists with delivering cost-effective handling of existing litigation and disputes to protect Dentsu's best interests, including timely and accurate reporting.Requirements:At least 4 years post-qualification experience, with experience in Intellectual Property and audiovisual and some law firm experience.Local country qualification to practice law (Spanish lawyer).Proven experience in working on and managing complex and large-scale contracts or transactions.Experience and knowledge of key legal principles in specialist areas of law: Intellectual Property, audiovisual, advertising, AI, IT law, and data focused on technology solutions.Some experience in risk management including compliance programs, including drafting of policies and procedures and training.Experience in advertising regulations and regulated (sensitive) sectors legislation will be a plus.Good knowledge of corporate governance.Proficiency in English language and solid skills working with English.Inclusion and Diversity:Our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so.
