IQS School of Management (IQS SM-Universitat Ramon Llull) is seeking a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Human Resources. The position entails developing and sustaining high-quality teaching and learning environments for students and conducting rigorous academic research. The expected start date is September 2025.
The successful candidate is expected to actively participate in IQS SM research activity and to teach a variety of courses such as:
Human Resources Management,
Organizational Theory,
Organizational Behavior,
Creativity,
Leadership (new ways)
in different programs (Bachelor, Master) in English and Spanish. It includes participation in designing new programs. This is a search for a tenure-ladder position, with the academic rank to be determined according to the experience and productivity of the candidate.
The successful candidate will be joining a vibrant, collaborative, and friendly environment within one of the most traditional research centers in Barcelona. Our School belongs to the selected group of AACSB accredited business schools in Spain.
The selection process will take into account the candidate's fulfillment of the following criteria:
A PhD in Human Resources or a related field. Candidates who do not yet have a PhD in Human Resources or a related field, but who expect to shortly complete this degree, may be considered.
A strong commitment to research in Human Resources Management, Organizational Theory, Organizational Behavior, and Leadership.
Publications in International Journals are expected.
A commitment to high-quality teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
