Mott MacDonald is currently seeking experienced engineers to join our growing renewable energy team. The role will include acting as Senior Project Manager in the delivery of Due Diligence assignments on large scale energy onshore and offshore wind projects working for a diverse range of clients on the Lenders side (LTA) and on M&A assignments (VDD and ADD). As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to work hand-in-hand across Mott MacDonald's Group to form large project teams and deliver on our global projects. The role will also act as an internal expert for wind advisory projects to provide support and mentoring to less experienced staff in the delivery of project work. Responsibilities: Managing onshore and offshore wind advisory assignments including but not limited to lenders due diligence, acquisition due diligence and vendors due diligence of development, construction and operational wind projects. Communicating, coordinating and corresponding with clients for all matters related to the assignments, acting as the primary point of contact on behalf of Mott MacDonald. Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams working closely with other Mott MacDonald business teams to establish an internal 'delivery' network as needed. Manage and hold overall project delivery responsibility for projects ensuring budgets are delivered on time, to a high quality and on budget. Manage and actively identify all critical risks, issues and impacts of the project. At short notice, act upon and deliver ad-hoc engineering technical input into projects managed by other peers at various stages (from feasibility to preliminary and detailed design, construction and operational stages) without losing focus on major ongoing projects. Undertake or provide guidance on technical reviews of engineering design documentation prepared by third parties and report on findings. Undertake or provide guidance on technical reviews of construction and operations contracts including but not limited to PPA, EPC (or TSA+BOP) and O&M. Undertake or provide guidance on technical reviews of financial models with special emphasis on project lifetime assumptions and derived impacts on OPEX and performance degradation. Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering. Be highly motivated, with a versatile personality and excellent interpersonal skills
