For our Agriculture Business Unit, we are looking for a SERVICE REPAIR TECHNICIAN based in our Madrid Office - Spain. The Service Repair Technician position provides service repairs for the Topcon Agricultural products. Additionally, the Service Repair Technician will provide service repair support to customers (internal employees, OEM's, Distributors, Deal Network) on matters relating to the operation, set-up, testing, and repair of the Topcon Agriculture products.
Job DescriptionCore Job Duties: Performs inspections, testing, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and repairs Topcon Agriculture products that consist of complex electrical and mechanical assemblies, subsystems, or modules, sophisticated computer and software systems.Complete end-of-line testing on manufactured products (Electronic Control Units, PC Controlled units, etc.).Oversee escalations on product issues, ensure escalated product issues follow the escalation process and are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.Collaborate with others and effectively use cross-functional resources to achieve team-oriented results.Resolve customer complaints on service-related issues, monitoring dealers' warranty compliance and providing recommendations for goodwill participation on out-of-warranty situations.Manufacture cables/harnesses.Education & ExperienceTechnical diploma or Trade Qualifications in Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Computing, or Hydraulics or equivalent.2 years of experience in a similar role.Understanding of agriculture machinery and their use.Ability to read and understand component layout drawings.Ability to read and understand wiring schematic drawings.Use of test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, etc.Computer skills in basic Microsoft Office suite.Problem-solving skills.Participate in a teamwork environment.Effective time management and organizational skills.Customer awareness and focus.Strong analytical skills.
