Job Title: Mechanical / Robotic Technician
Summary: As a Mechanical / Robotic Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of robotic systems, mechanical equipment, and automated machinery. You will perform diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. This role involves hands-on technical work, including mechanical assembly, calibration, and repair of robotic components. You will collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve system efficiency and solve technical challenges.
Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repair of robotic milking systems at regional Service Center or customer sites.Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues.Manage and control the Service Center warehouse.Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair processes, including robotics test logs and parts usage.Coordinate with HQ teams and customers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and components as needed.Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures at all times, both in the workshop and on-site. Requirements: Previous experience in a mechanical or technical role, preferably in electro-mechanical equipment or high-technology production line sectors.Familiarity with automated milking systems, particularly milking robots, is highly desirable.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers (end users & dealers) and internal stakeholders.Flexibility to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, often in remote locations and varying weather conditions.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites in Europe and outside of Europe as required.Fluent in English, with proficiency in other EU languages being a plus.
