Main responsibilities and objectives: Synthesis of the test results of the activities of the 3 teams (calibration, evaluation and acceleration performance measurement).Formal reporting development status to Project Stakeholders at milestones, events and at any necessity.Define, request and monitor necessary engineering services, through the service coordinator.Lead the organization and execution of test missions in extreme conditions of altitude, hot climate, cold climate, and extreme cold climate.Analyze the requirements of the vehicle project to be developed and support the Section Manager to plan the project activities and estimate the necessary resources.Prepare and report the deliverables defined for the assigned project(s).Lead and support the analysis of technical problems.Support the understanding of the achievement level for Driveability and Acceleration Performance of the main Stakeholders in the Company during driving events organized for this purpose.Background and experience: Master Science Engineering degree in mechanical/automotive.Well-founded knowledge of vehicle dynamics (powertrain oriented).Proven in-vehicle Calibration experience of traction systems control functions.Proficient with INCA/MDA data measurement and analysis and user knowledge of vehicle instrumentation.Availability for frequent traveling and vehicle testing even in the most extreme environmental conditions.Must be fluent in English and Spanish, spoken and written.Valid Driving License B.At Nissan, we believe that the differences among us - differences in race, gender, age, mindset, religion, people with disabilities and much more - make us stronger and equip us to better serve our customers and communities.
