Drafting Specialist

We are looking for a drafting specialist to design the mechanical structure and product components of a functional system within a broader engineering solution. This role is based in Zaragoza at the Hitachi Energy factory focused on Dry Transformers.
Your Responsibilities:Dimension dry transformers mechanically based on customer specifications, international standards, and factory requirements.Collaborate with sales, project management, and electrical designers to develop optimal technical solutions for customized transformers.Provide quality and timely 3D and 2D documentation for manufacturing and suppliers.Offer technical documentation and instructions to customers when necessary.Research ease of manufacture, materials availability, and equipment using CAD/CAE software during the design process.Support various operational areas during manufacturing stages.Participate in product-related continuous improvement activities and cost-out initiatives.Consult with engineering groups to ensure adherence to technical standards and best practices.Your Background:Certificate of Higher Education in product design or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Around 2 years of design and execution experience.Previous experience and knowledge in CREO PTC 3D modeling system or similar software.Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS-Office).Fluency in Spanish and B2 level in English.Initiative, creativity, and great attention to detail.Knowledge of mechanical simulations is a plus.
