The PDU PC is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Ericsson Packet Core portfolio, which includes 2G, 3G, 4G, and now 5G Packet Core. The unit has main sites in 5 countries globally: China, Hungary, Germany, Spain, and Sweden. The Development Group unit in Madrid (DG AO) specializes in Analytics & Optimizations, developing and maintaining best-in-class traffic management, optimization, and analytics service functions reusable across the PC Gateway and Multi-Service Proxy portfolio.
