Role ResponsibilitiesDirectly leads all medical affairs functions, ensuring operational excellence for customer-facing medical, evidence generation, medical enablement functions.Partners with the Country President/Manager to ensure alignment with internal and external country strategies and represents all medical and related functions at Country Leadership Team.Represents the immediate point of reference to the Country President/Manager and One-Medical face of Pfizer to external stakeholders, such as KOL's, Industry Bodies, Regulatory Authorities, Government & Payers (in partnership with appropriate functional lines) and during Business Development discussions.Represents Pfizer medical through relationships with medical associations, societies, academic medical centers and industry associations.In partnership with Global Medical Affairs, ensures Scientific Leadership and TA expertise by rigorous training and a single global medical 'truth' asset by asset.Flawlessly lead execution of GLocal strategies, ensuring appropriate resource allocation to execute medical plans.Leads medical quality and compliance teams with respect to inspections, corporate governance and related complaints.Chairs the Country Medical Council (CMC) with the purpose of maintaining compliance and information flow as well as to facilitate the resolution of issues that arise within any medical teams and partner functions.Represents the Country medical platform and partner functions in the Country Management Forum (CMF), and ensures direct representation in the CMF, when appropriate.Organizational Relationships: Life science partnerships, IMI initiatives, Proactive media coverage, Serves on hospital and society boards, collaborates with industry boards.Financial AccountabilityUp to EUR 10 million
