Job Overview A DLP solution architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data loss prevention (DLP) solutions that align with the business use case and requirements. The DLP solution architect will work closely with the DLP project manager, the DLP technical team, and the business stakeholders to ensure that the DLP solutions are effective, efficient, and compliant with the relevant policies and regulations. Roles and Responsibilities Define the DLP architecture and design principles based on the business use case and the DLP best practices. Develop the DLP solution design documents, including the DLP policies, rules, workflows, reports, and dashboards. Configure, test, and deploy the DLP solutions using the appropriate DLP tools and technologies. Provide technical guidance and support to the DLP technical team and the business stakeholders on the DLP solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot the DLP solutions and ensure that they are performing as expected. Review and update the DLP solutions as per the changing business needs and the DLP standards. Document and communicate the DLP solution architecture and design to the relevant stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing DLP solutions. Strong knowledge of DLP concepts, methodologies, and tools. Proficient in DLP technologies, such as Symantec, McAfee, Forcepoint, or Microsoft. Experience in DLP policy development, testing, and deployment. Ability to analyze and understand the business use case and the data protection requirements. Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Certifications in DLP, such as Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS), McAfee Certified Product Specialist (MCPS), Forcepoint Certified System Engineer (FCSE), or Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate, are preferred.
