What you will do Lead the development of the HR12 mild hybrid engine (MH48V) in the context of new regulations and/or adaptations for a new or existing vehicle/platform, ensuring the expectations of various milestones/best lines are met while respecting the agreed-upon quality, cost, timeline, and performance objectives with participating entities (Renault Group or others). Internally, lead the convergence of the development/evolution of the engine hardware and the 48V system (including the battery), as well as the various software/calibrations, industrialization processes, and performance metrics (consumption, emissions, NVH). Primary Responsibilities Oversee the entire lifecycle of hybrid powertrain projects, from conception and prototyping to testing and integration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility and performance meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Drive innovation through research and technology explorations that enhance hybrid systems efficiencies and capabilities. Lead the engineering teams in addressing technical challenges and implementing solutions aligned with project timelines and budgets. What we are looking for Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields. Minimum 10 years of proven experience in hybrid systems development or similar automotive technologies. Extensive knowledge of hybrid powertrain architectures, including electric motor and battery integration. Experience in leading engineering projects and cross-disciplinary teams. Proficiency in CAD software and vehicle simulation tools. Proven technical experience in electronic systems architecture, engine calibration, software, and product design. Ability to manage economic aspects (CAPEX, OPEX, PRF evolution). Key Skills Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
